As our main point of contact within our member institutions, Ambassadors play a crucial role in facilitating exchange and collaboration across the Commonwealth.

Nominating an ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Ambassador ensures you are kept updated on the range of benefits available to you, from events and webinars to communities of practice, policy roundtables, international delegations and access to grants and awards.
To make the most of your membership, the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø strongly encourages all member universities to provide contact details for a member of staff willing to take up a voluntary role of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Ambassador.
³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Ambassadors (formerly known as ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Champions) should have an international remit (for example: a role in the international office, or in global partnerships) at an ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø member university. Ambassadors are typically nominated by Vice-Chancellors to help facilitate stronger two-way communication between the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø and a member university.
The Ambassador acts as the main point of contact for the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, to help identify internal contacts for a variety of opportunities on offer from the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, and to discuss a member’s priorities with the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø for support.
Every year, the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø organises a flagship event exclusively for our ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Ambassadors at member universities.
In recognition of the crucial role that our Ambassadors play, we issue digital credentials that allow them to demonstrate their role and their membership of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. These credentials also facilitate connection and collaboration with other Ambassadors across the Commonwealth.
To discuss the role or send in a nomination, please send an email to the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Membership team with the subject line ‘Ambassador nomination’ at: membership@acu.ac.uk
